November Birthstones - Topaz and Citrine

Topaz -   Imperial topaz is the traditional birthstone for November.  Imperial  Topaz is one of the  rarest of all Topaz and some of the rarest of all gems and ranges in color from peach to pink.  While Imperial Topaz is the most valuable of topaz, Blue Topaz is the most common color.  Topaz comes in many colors and is an 8 on Mohs scale.

Citrine - Citrine ranges in color from pure yellow, golden honey, smokey brown to intense orange. The name Citrine is derived from its lemon yellow color. Citrine is a 7 on Moh's scale of mineral hardness.
