March Birthstone Jewelry - Aquamarine

Aquamarine is the birthstone for March.  Aquamarine captures the beauty of the sea and can be found in oceanic shades of pastel blue green to light green to deep blue.  The darker shades of blue are the most valuable.  Aquamarine are a 7.5 to 8 on Moh's Scale of Mineral Hardness and is a sister to Emerald in the Beryl family.
